At the public workshop of the Aachen OR.NET demonstrator the networked operation room of the future will be presented: As part of many networked medical devices a Localite navigation system will be shown communicating with a surgical microscope (Möller-Wedel) and a 3D C-arm (Ziehm Imaging). All communication is realized using standardized, open protocols.
The workshop will take place in seminar room of Helmholtz Institute for Biomedical Engineering of Aachen University (RWTH):
